So I sort of forgot to mention this last year...sorry. That photographer I met in the subway after my run in with the police? Turned out, I happened to be wandering home through Union Square, a few days later, looking to finish off our holiday card, and who should I see in the underground police station?...you guessed it. Apparently he managed to get himself detained as well. He got caught using a tripod on the platform (that is illegal) and so he got the special back room treatment...terrorism task squad interview and all...of course he was also German. Since I found it pretty odd that I ran into him again under reverse circumstances, I thought I'd post something about it. His name is Adam Magyar...
